The Watercolor Erosion series features photogravure prints from my six-plate project Roots/Underworld, layered with hand-painted watercolor. This process of painting over the prints symbolizes how land and perception shift over time, mirroring the natural cycles of erosion, growth, and rebuilding. Using the photogravures as a foundational terrain, I alter their perspectives—much like time and healing reshape our inner lives—to ensure each piece is entirely distinct. By recycling these previous works, I regenerate landscapes within my existing body of work, opening up new possibilities from what was to what could be.
